Our Let's Offroad trip
Our trip started early morning, we drove through the beautiful off road areas, sugar cane plantations, scary looking bridges and finally we reached beach in Barra do Cunhau. We took the ferry across the river and here our trip started in full speed. Spectacular views of the white sandy beach with beautifully crystal clear and turquoise waters made it even better. Few minutes and we were in fishing town-Baia Formosa. Driving on the coast in 4x4 jeep with Gustavo who is a very friendly Brazilian and English speaking person was very nice and exciting. We passed Sagi and Baia da Traição where we have never been to. During our journey we have also visited Fazenda Bom Jardim (good garden farm) - place with the most beautiful garden you can imagine. At this lace you can also ride w horse and eat delicious lunch. After few hours drive filled with little ferry crossing, stunning beaches and in land landscape we have reached our destination - Pedra da Boca (the mouth rock). First we had a tasty and very Brazilian lunch with beans, chicken and meat which gave us all the necessary energy we needed for 2.5 hour climbing. In a group of 10 and with truly friendly guide we started our walk entwined with climbing and rolling between rocks. We tried pure mineral water from the rock and learned a lot about local plants and the way you can use them for cuts or as a dental floss! We had 100% amazing day that we have finished with a cold drink when we came back from the mountain. On the way back Gustavo made sure hat we were comfortable in the car taking us straight home.
